Concepts and playbooks.
Every track has a concepts guide and a playbook on the site, mapped to the exam’s domains and weights, with the documentation the exam actually lets you open.

Do you even kubectl apply?
Exam-shaped reps on your machine — timed, graded by real cluster or VM state, with cold passes counted. The CLI is the gym. Concepts and playbooks are your warm-up.

HOW IT WORKS
Read the playbook. Do the rep. Grade the cluster. Repeat until cold passes are boring.
Every track has a concepts guide and a playbook on the site, mapped to the exam’s domains and weights, with the documentation the exam actually lets you open.
kubefit drill cka seeds a scenario into a local kind cluster (LFCS gets a disposable Ubuntu VM), prints the task, and starts the clock. kubefit grade checks the real state of the cluster, as often as you like.
Your report tells you what to drill next; kubefit next launches one drill in your current track using your rep history. Coach Caz turns your synced reps into saved 15, 30 or 60-minute workouts. Keep one useful cue in your notebook.
BUILT LIKE THE EXAM
The exams don’t ask what you know. They ask whether you can fix it in the time you have. Drills are built the same way.
Each task carries a training target. Your pace is measured against it, rep after rep.
Graders inspect the cluster, not your YAML. Selectors, endpoints, HTTP responses, file contents on the host.
A first-grade pass with no hints or solution is a cold pass. Reports count it separately from assisted passes and retries.
kubefit test cka: 17 original questions, two hours, automatic final grading. Use a weekly mock to check your pacing.
Every task lists the pages that answer it, on the sites the exam permits, so you build the habit of navigating them.
Drills run on kind and Lima on your laptop. No cloud bill, no session limit, no shared terminal.

FROM BILL, THE BUILDER
I usually cleared the theoretical exams on the first try. CKA, CKAD, LFCS, and ICA were different — they bit hard. Knowing the material wasn’t enough; I needed to perform under a clock, on a real system, when the pods looked fine and nothing worked.
KubeFit is the gym those exams demanded: timed drills on your machine, graded by cluster or VM state, not by whether your answer looks right.

BEFORE YOU LACE UP
An independent Kubernetes and Linux trainer. The kubefit CLI runs timed, graded drills on your machine for CKA, CKAD, CKS, LFCS, CNPE, CKNE and ICA. app.kubefit.com holds the concepts and playbooks for each track, plus your reports and notebooks.
Publicly available, closed-source, free to use. The source repository is private. Create a free account, confirm your email, then follow Getting started. No invite required.
macOS or Linux with Docker, kind, kubectl and helm for the Kubernetes tracks, and Lima for the LFCS track. Drills create a local cluster called muscle and a VM called kubefit-lfcs; kubefit end removes both.
Because the exam is a terminal, and because your own cluster has no meter running. Drills are unlimited, offline once the pack is downloaded, and graded the same way every time.
No. KubeFit is an independent training project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CNCF or The Linux Foundation. Official certification exams are administered separately. See CNCF’s certification information.
